Day by day

How the days unfold.

A proven shape, not a fixed script — every day below can stretch, swap or slow down when we plan yours.

  1. Day 01

    Old & New Delhi

Mughal Delhi and the imperial capital — Jama Masjid, Humayun's Tomb and a quiet drive past Lutyens' avenues, at your own pace.

  2. Day 02

    Delhi to Agra

A private transfer to Agra on the Yamuna Expressway, with time to settle before the monuments — and Agra Fort at golden hour if the day allows.

  3. Day 03

The Taj Mahal & Agra Fort

The Taj at first light, then the red-sandstone grandeur of Agra Fort with a guide who brings the Mughal story alive.

  4. Day 04

Fatehpur Sikri & on to Jaipur

The perfectly preserved ghost city of Akbar, then the road into Rajasthan and the Pink City.

  5. Day 05

Jaipur — Amber & the old city

Amber Fort, the Hawa Mahal and the royal bazaars, with insider stops away from the crowds.

  6. Day 06

The road back to Delhi — or onward

An easy morning before the drive home, or extend the arc — Ranthambore's tigers, Udaipur's lakes or the ghats of Varanasi are all within reach.

Good to know

How many days does the Golden Triangle need?

Six days is the classic private shape — two nights in Delhi, one in Agra, two in Jaipur — without ever feeling rushed. It compresses to four for shorter trips, and extends to seven or more with Ranthambore, Udaipur or Varanasi added to the arc.

Is this a group tour?

Never. Ivory Arc designs private journeys only — your own car, chauffeur, guides and schedule. No shared coaches, no fixed departures, and no shopping stops for commission.

What does a private Golden Triangle tour cost?

Indicatively from ₹24,000 per day, billed in INR. Pricing is transparent — hotels at the actual rate the hotel charges plus one flat 10% coordination fee, with monument entries to the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Amber Fort included. The estimator shows a range for your dates in about two minutes.

Are Taj Mahal tickets included?

Yes — entries to the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Amber Fort and the headline sites on your route are included and arranged in advance, so you walk past the ticket queues.

When is the best time to go?

October to March brings cool, clear days — the classic season. April to June is hot but quiet at the monuments; July to September is the monsoon, green and atmospheric. The Taj at dawn rewards every season. Note the Taj Mahal is closed to sightseeing on Fridays, and we plan the Agra days around it.

Can we change the route?

Entirely. The triangle is a starting shape — reverse it, slow it down, or extend toward Ranthambore, Pushkar, Udaipur or Varanasi. Every journey is quoted exactly for the route you choose.
